As an Interim Year-End Accountant at Argyll, you'll be a vital part of our dedicated Finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a company that is setting new standards in the workspace industry.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Year-End reporting:
- Prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Confidently respond to audit queries.
- Prepare financial statements for the year-end audit.
- General Ledger Expertise:
- Review transactions within the system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Post any necessary corrections to maintain data integrity.
- Reconciliations:
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
- Skilfully identify and resolve any discrepancies or reconciling items.
- Team Player:
- Provide support to the wider Finance team as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- 5-7 years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on month-end and year-end processes.
- Proven ability to prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with year-end audits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
- A proactive and hands-on approach.
- Proficiency in financial software such as Microsoft Excel. (Yardi and Caseware an advantage)
Desirable Requirements:
- ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
