Multi-skilled Operative
Join Argyll as a Multi Skilled Operative, keeping London’s most prestigious workspaces safe, beautifully presented and running seamlessly through hands-on maintenance and repairs.
Discover Argyll
Argyll creates and manages some of London’s most distinctive office environments, combining prestigious addresses, beautifully designed spaces and exceptional service.
Our teams are at the heart of what we do, taking pride in creating workspaces where our clients and their businesses can thrive.
The role
As a Multi Skilled Operative, you’ll help keep our buildings safe, functional and beautifully presented.
Working across a cluster of Argyll locations, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day repairs, maintenance and practical tasks, working closely with our Operations, front of house, engineering and contractor teams.
It’s a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same.
What you’ll be doing
Carrying out reactive repairs and routine maintenance across our buildings.
Completing painting, decorating, fabric maintenance and general DIY tasks.
Supporting furniture moves and changes to our workspaces.
Carrying out routine building checks and identifying issues before they impact our clients.
Keeping plant rooms, storage and equipment areas safe, secure and organised.
Supporting and escorting contractors, ensuring appropriate safety procedures are followed.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activity, risk assessments and works completed.
Working safely at all times and following relevant health and safety procedures.
Providing a professional, responsive service to clients and colleagues.
Supporting maintenance and operational priorities across the wider Argyll portfolio.
What you’ll bring
You’ll be practical, proactive and solutions focused, with a genuine pride in completing work to a high standard.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Experience in building fabric, repairs or multi-skilled maintenance.
Good practical skills across painting, decorating and general repairs.
An understanding of health and safety, risk assessments and safe working practices.
Relevant maintenance, building fabric or health and safety training.
Confidence using digital systems to record and manage your work.
Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
The ability to work safely at height where appropriately trained.
Experience within premium workspace, hospitality or commercial property would be an advantage, as would an electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.

At Argyll, our people make the difference. You’ll join a collaborative team with high standards, where you’ll be trusted to take ownership and encouraged to keep developing your skills.
Alongside excellent benefits and generous holidays, you’ll have access to team events and our reward and recognition programme.
